Aftercare

Immediate Aftercare (First 24–48 Hours)

  • Avoid heat & friction: Skip hot showers, saunas, swimming, and intense workouts to prevent irritation and bacterial exposure.

  • Wear loose clothing: Helps skin breathe and reduces chafing.

  • No touching: Hands carry bacteria that can cause breakouts or infection.

  • Skip scented products: Avoid deodorants, perfumes, and lotions with fragrance or alcohol.

  • Use calming products: Aloe vera, tea tree oil, or a cooling serum can soothe redness and inflammation.

Ongoing Care (Days 3+)

  • Exfoliate gently: Start 3 days post-wax with a loofah or mild scrub to prevent ingrown hairs. Continue 1–2 times per week.

  • Moisturize daily: Choose non-comedogenic, fragrance-free lotions to keep skin soft and healthy.

  • Sun protection: Use SPF30+ if exposed to sunlight, as waxed skin is more sensitive to UV rays.

Pro Tips for Clients

  • Rebook every 4–6 weeks to sync with the hair growth cycle.

  • Avoid shaving between appointments to maintain waxing results.

  • For facial waxing, skip exfoliants, retinols, and AHAs for 48 hours.

Wear clean, loose fitting clothes.
